Font Notes:
Described in López de Silanes Valgañón (2000) as one of two baptismal fonts of the 13th century, both with basins decorated with ribbed pattern. Described and illustrated in Sáenz Rodríguez (2004) and in the Enciclopedia del románico en La Rioja (2008) as a 12th-century font of crude workmanship, perhaps by the hand of the stone-mason who built the church itself. The tub-shaped basin, which still retains one of the staples of an old cover, has an incised horizontal groove al around from which descend vertical grooves, resembling a very sketchy and flat ribbed pattern; the stem onwhich it rests is round and very weathered. Sáenz Rodríguez (ibid.) dates to the mid-12th century.
