Interesting holy-water stoup mounted on one of the columns of the nave; the basin is octagonal, with vertical sides down to the rounded underbowl which still retains the octagonal shape; the upper rim of the basin has a roll moulding; the sides [some?] of the basin have a variety of motifs: a grid-like motif on the front side [perhsp an armillary sphere?], in the next side is a character like a letter F [or one of the Latin contractions that resemble that letter] with an "o" or circle above and what appears like a Greek omega below; the next side to the right has a crudely-rendered Moon with a human face; on the corresponding side to the left, is a similar one with the Sun. The underbowl appears plain. [We are grateful to Montserrat Estela, of Barcelona, Spain, for her photograph of this font]
