Described in López de Silanes Valgañón (2000) as a Romanesque baptismal font of the 12th century with a plain basin, similar to the one at nearby Zorraquin. Described in Sáenz Rodríguez (2004) and in the Enciclopedia del románico en La Rioja (2008) as a Romanesque baptismal font of the 12th century consisting of a plain hemisperical basin raised on a short cylindrical pedestal with a moulding, and an octagonal lower base, the latter modern. "Esta pila bautismal es del siglo XII, contemporánea a la iglesia de San Martín donde se encuentra en el lado suroeste de los pies. Mide 93 cm de altura total por 118 cm de diámetro del brocal. De tipología en copa, se compone de una base octogonal moderna, un pie cilíndrico muy corto rematado en una fina moldurita y un taza semiesférica lisa."
