Described in Heales (1889: 39) as a baptismal font of approximately the same period and style as those at Rønne and Østermarie [cf. Index entries under these names], also on the island of Bornholm. The period would be "Decorated" [i.e., Gothic] and the dating in the late 13th to early 15th century. The shape of the font is stated in Heales (ibid.) as "quite of the hock-glass form".
