Described and illustrated in Franco Mata's Catálogo de la escultura gótica (2nd ed. 1993: 187 no. 219): Gothic holy-water stoup of the 13th century made of limestone; origin unknown. The object is roughly round and intended to be wall-mounted; the sides are decorated with leafless branches in high relief. This same source (ibid.) informs that it was acquired by the M.A.N. from de collection of Gabriel y Galán on June 25, 1962.
