Baptismal font probably of the 16th century, the time when the original Gothic church of the late 14th century was rebuilt. The basin is polygonal [dodecagonal?] with vertical sides, plain except for a graded moulding at the upper rim side and an incised line a couple of inches from the underbowl. The base, which might be of a later date, is also polygonal [dodecagonal?] and consists of a centre ring moulding and a pedestal that is very slender at the top but splays out to a quite wide bottom and dcorated with three graded mouldings on its lower end. [We are grateful to Montserrat Estela, of Barcelona, Spain, for bringing this font to our attention and for the photograph of the font]
