Font Notes:
Baptismal font of the 14th-15th century, in Gothic style. The octagonal basin has a large heart-shaped Gothic window on each side, with tracery within it; the underbowl is chamfered and has a tracery motif on each side; the base is octagonal, a series of graded mouldings splaying out at the bottom. There is a wooden crown-shaped octagonal cover with a raised centre part topped with a figural finial [John the Baptist?]. Both font and cover are painted in bright colours, the font with a predominance of blue, ochre and yellow, while the cover is mostly red and gold.
