Identified in Berggren (2002: 150 fn17) as a baptismal font made of Gotlandic limestone [NB: Berggren notes earlier erroneous identifications of its material as granite]. The old font was apparently replaced by a wooden one of hexagonal shape ca. 1699; the stone font was then relegated to the churchyard re-purposed as a planter.
