Holy-water stoup described and illustrated in Cox & Harvey (1907): "trefoil-headed niche over a stoup, the cusps being tipped with ball-flower ornament, so characteristic of work of the early part of the 14th cent." Harrison (1920) notes a holy-water "stoup with trefoiled niche, Dec. (c. 1350)".
