Font Notes:
Described in Cox & Harvey (1907) as a the second of two beatiful heraldic stoups made of dark Catacleuse stone ca. 1500, probably by the same artist; the other is at St. Endellion [cf. Index entry for St. Endellion No. 2]. C&H (ibid.) describe the St. Issey stoup thus: "an angel holds an impaled shield, but no arms remain; the bearings were lost likely painted and not in any way engraved". Cox (1912) locates it at the south entrance.
