There is an entry for Yoxford [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/TM3968/yoxford/] [accessed 17 June 2025]; it mentions neither priest nor church in it. Font described in Parker (1855): "Font, an octagon, with panelled bowl and pedestal." Cox & Harvey (1907) note a wall-mounted holy-water stoup ornamented with a trefoil motif. The entry for this church in Historic England [Listing NGR: TM3943468982] notes: "Parish church. Medieval; north aisle added 1837; considerably restored 1868 and 1920 [...] Good early C15 octagonal font, carved panels, the stem with engaged shafts and panelling between."
