Described and illustrated in Antonio García Omedes' 'Romanico aragones' [www.romanicoaragones.com/0-Jacetania/73-Leres.htm] [accessed 10 February 2013] as a strange-looking statue built into the north wall of the nave; the statue holds out a container that has been construed by some as a holy-water stoup but, as García-Omedes points out (ibid.), its function as stoup is questionable, and its date unknown.
