Holy-water stoup that appears to match the material, style and ornamentation of the baptismal font in this church, therefore medieval, probably Romanesque. The wall-mounted stoup is hemispheric and, like the font, bears two levels of decoration on its sides; unlike the font, however, the upper basin side is ornamented with semi-circular motifs all around, while the underbowl carries the same blind arcade st the font, inscrbing thick ribs within the arches. [We are grateful to Angels Majó Rais and to Montserrat Estela, of Barcelona, Spain, for the images of and information on this stoup] -- [cf. Index entry for La Frontera No. 1 for a matching (?) baptismal font in the same church]
