Medieval baptismal font; the basin is roughly cylindrical and plain, monolithic but with two volumes, the underbowl being shorter and narrower, with markedly slanted sides, whereas the basin sides are almost vertical; at the upper rim, at oposite sides, the stone has been cut, perhaps where the iron staples of the old cover had been anchored; the basin is raised on a cylindrical pedestal base decorated with two roll mouldings, one at the centre one at the bottom; the font is raised on a two-step plinth, one narrow, the other quite wide. There is a flat plain wooden cover on the font now [2003]. The font is enclosed in a wooden railing [NB: the previous notes describe the font in 2003; changes have been made to the interior of the church since]. There is a second font or stoup located at the west end of the nave; it consists of a shallower basin and a quacrangular pedestal base; period unknown. [cf.
