Baptismal font in wrought iron designed as a support for the baptismal dish ["dåbsfad"] made of silver; the latter was re-cast at a later date and bears an Annunciation scene. The basin sides are decorated with four human busts of Oriental inspiration alternating with the crowned "4" -Christian IV, king of Denmark- framed in foliage; the stem of the base is very slender and has a rope moulding at eachh end; the lower base consists of four thin human-like legs at 90-degree angles; the space created below the knee is filled with a scroll-like motif, all of the above-mentioned elements in wrought iron [except the silver dish]. According to the church information pamplet, "The font in wrought iron was donated in 1646 by forgemaster Hans Ulriksen Svitzer himself. The original baptismal dish in silver from 1646 was recast in 1757 to fit a new font executed in white marble by C. F. Stanley. It [i.e., the marble font] now stands in the baptismal chapel in the Garden Aisle".
