Described and illustrated in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-, vol. V**: 576 and fig. 272): Gothic baptismal font of the 13th century consisting of a quasi-cylindrical basin mounted on a short cylindrical pedestal base and a square plinth/lower base; the sides and underbowl of the basin are decorated with 6-petal flowers inscribed in circles alternating with 5-point stars inscribed in circles and bearing tiny crosses in the empty spaces; the lower part of the base or plinth has four protruding knobs that are identified in this source as traces of masks ["restos de máscaras"]. [NB: the CMdeN mentions a holy-water stoup by the original 17th-century door but does not include the date -- not listed in this Index]. The entry for this church in the Atlas del Patrimonio Historico-Cultural [http://www.lebrelblanco.com/anexos/atlas-Saldias-Pamplona.htm] [accessed 13 July 2023] reports a 13th-century Gothic baptismal font but the illustration shown is that of the stoup, not the font.
