Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-) as a baptismal font that existed in this church centuries prior to the late-16th century renovation; part of this renovation consisted in enclosing the baptismal area with a railing ["enrejar el espacio en que se emplazaba la pila bautismal"]. [NB: we have no information on the present whereabouts of this font; it is not mentioned in the Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008) [cf. Index entry for Puente la Reina No. 2 for the font now [2007] in this church -- although it is possible that the base of the present font may have been the base of the original one, we are not able to identify the font mentioned in the CMdeN with the present one]
