Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-, vol. V**: 233): baptismal font consisting of a large hemispherical basin ornamented with flat ribbed pattern raised on a quadrangular lower base, without pedestal stem [which may be missing]. The CMdeN (ibid.) informs that there are two (contradictory?) documentary sources in the parish records related to the making of this font: the first, dated prior to 1604, accounts for a payment made to the stone-mason ["cantero"] Francisco Aranalde for the making of the font; the second entry records a payment in 1677 for the same purpose.
