Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Mayenne (2002, v. 2: 513): holy-water stoup of the 15th century; the basin is hexagonal inside and out, with irregular almost vertical sides, the back being the widest; the front side is ornamented with the protruding head of an animal identified in this same source as a ram, the Devil's symbol ["orné d'un bouc, symbole du Diable"], from which it is known as "bénitier au diablotin". It is mounted on a rounded granite column and cemented to both the base and the wall against which it is located, near the entrance porch. [Flohic ref. no. 53150704]
