Described and illustrated in Le patrimoine des communes de la Mayenne (2002, v. 1: 207): baptismal font of the 17th century made of black marble; it consists of an oval basin, plain except for a roll moulding at the upper rim; the interior of the basin is divided into four compartments, two round and two rectangular, a common pattern in French fonts of this period; the base is a square pedestal of the baluster type. The flat wooden cover is identified in the same source as modern, dated to 1987. This same source states that this font is similar to the one at nearby Château-Gontier, Église de la Trinité. [Flohic ref. no. 53060378]
