Baptismal font made of marble dated to 158[?] by an inscription; hemispherical basin made of white marble and ornamented with a protruding lip at the upper rim; the side has a band of gilded rosettes between which run the letters and numbers of the inscription; a thin moulding, also gilded, signals the upper end of the underbowl, itself decorated with ribbed pattern; the upper end of the stem of the base is square in shape and made of pink marble, each side decorated with a cherub or putto head; the stem proper is also square and made of white marble, like the basin, but of a bulbous shape and its sides are ornamented with foliage; the lower base is square again and decorated with two mouldings. The whole stands on a circular plinth. The wooden cover is shaped like the basin, but upturned, with the protruding lip at the bottom, then the row of rosettes and, obove them, the ribbed pattern; it ends in a round know finial.
