"Stone baptismal font founded by Miko[l?]aj Szyd[l]owiecki and his wife Anna née T´czyƒska [?], having the Odrowà[?], Topór and [the?] coats of arms and IHS letters cut in stone" [source: http://www.szydlowiec.pl/grafika/index/szydl1.pdf.] [now broken link]. The font consists of an octagonal basin with a pronounced torus-scotia all around and a ribbed underbowl raised on amoulded octagonal-to-square bulbous pedestal base. Octagonal font cover, painted and gilded.
