Church Notes: original church probably pre-Romanesque; present church chiefly 12thC and ca. 1780; later abandoned for decades; restored in the 190s;
Font Notes:
Illustrated without commentary or description in the Enciclopedia del románico de Castilla y León [full ref. not available]: baptismal font probably of the Romanesque period; the basin is roughly hemispherical and plain, with a metal cinch below the rim; plain cylindrical pedestal stem and short round lower base only slightly wider than the stem, moulded at the base. No cover present nor is there any evidence of anchoring hardware anywhere on the basin rim.
