Described in García de Castro (1995: 242): baptismal font of the pre-Romanesque period, probably the late 9th or early 10th century; it is vat-shaped and similar to, though smaller than, several other such fonts in this area of the Principality of Asturias; the basin is ornamented with a flat moulding all around its middle; raised on a modern polygonal base. The round flat wooden cover is modern. This author relates it, except for size and material, to the fragment now at San Miguel de Lillo.
