Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-); described and illustrated in Domeño (1992): medieval baptismal font {the CMdeN (ibid.). Described in the Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008)]. Romanesque baptismal font consisting of a roughly hemispherical basin ornamented with a frame of horizontal and vertical flat moulding/tape motif wit a ball motif [these ball motifs have a cross-incision, looking much like "hot cross buns"]; the basin is raised on a concave cylindrical base and a circular lower base; the latter is probably an piece alien to this font as can be gathered from the type of stone, the shape and the ornamentation on it, a band of inscribed six-petal floral motifs. The upper sides of the basin and rim show evidence of a crude restoration with modern cement. A tallish prismatical cover of modern manufacture stands on the font now [this type of cover is not common in Navarre, but there are two others recorded in this area: Iturgoyen and Ugar]: the rim-buffet type with front panels open to give access to the basin well.
