Described and illustrated in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. IV*: 520 and fig. 322), and in Domeño (1992: 58-59, 166 and pl. 59): Gothic baptismal font, probably of the 13th century; the font has a basin with an upper part that is star-shaped [twelve points] followed down by rounded sides with a deep Gothic window on each of the four sides containing a trefoil arch; these windows rest on quadrangular columns leaving a hollow between themselves and the central support of the basin; all five elements then are raised on a X-shaped lower base the sides of which are ornamented with ball motif, perhaps the only "Navarrese" element of this object [Domeño points out that another 12-point star-shaped basin is found in Monreal, also in this area of Navarra, but unfortunately it has lost the lower basin and base]. This font type is rare in Navarra [except perhaps the base at Urdanoz], indeed in all of Spain [cf. Index entries for fonts at Barnack, Standon and Poynings, all in Britain and dated 13th-14th century, for fonts with such a basin-base structural relationship; also later fonts of the Perpendicular period].
