Font Notes:
Described in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?-) and in Domeño (1992): medieval baptismal font of the original date of the church, the 13th century, in proto- or early-Gothic style; plain hemispherical basin. Noted in the Enciclopedia del románico en Navarra (2008) as one of a series of plain medieval fonts in Navarra at Muniain de Guesalaz, Arroniz, Learza, Oteiza, Echavarri, Azuelo, Etayo, Ubago, Mues, Cabrega, Murieta, Piedramillera and Villamayor de Monjardin, in the Estella region, as well as those in the valleys of Oloriz, , Garinoain and Muruzabal de Andion, as plain medieval fonts in the area. [NB: if the dates were compatible, could the font in the porch have been damaged early on and replaced by the one now inside the church?] [cf.
