Described in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. XIX: 170) as a baptismal font from the old Romanesque church that preceded the present 19th-century church; it is now built into the corner made by the old Romanesque wall and the sacristy; this area was once used as an am=nimal pen and the font as water trough for the beasts. Listed with measurements in Cruañes-Virella (1984) where the basin appears cauldron-shaped.
