The entry for this church in the Catalan Wikipedia [https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iglesia_de_San_Martín_(Talaixá)] [accessed 2 June 2025] informs that the 12th-century font was discovered behind a wall of the church: "La pica [sic] bautismal románica del siglo XII fue descubierta en 1970 escondida detrás de un tabique. Se trata de una pica de las de inmersión de tipo cilíndrico-troncocónica, decorada por anchos arcos cegados de poco relieve y separados por pequeñas columnatas con capiteles muy difuminados, todo rematado con una ancha bordura a su parte superior." The monolithic object is a hemispherical basin with a broad flat moulding around the upper side; the lower sides are ornamented with a blind arcade of round arches carved at a slight diagonal incline; there appears to be no base. The font, believed to be from the old Romanesque church, is now in the ruins of the 17th-18th church.
