A medieval baptismal font now located in the Parish Church of San Blas; the font consists of two parts: a hemispherical basin plain except for a flat moulding at the upper basin side, and a conical base ornamented with a moulding and ball motif. The most interesting aspect of this font, otherwise of a common type, is the shape of the inner well, tetrafoil/cruciform, not a common type in this area. The upper basin side has a large hole, probably to do with the lock mechanism of an old cover. This font is mentioned in the Catálogo Monumental de Navarra (1990?- , vol. IV**: 297) as being originally from the Iglesia de San Fructuoso in Iso, in the municipality of Romanzado, although information from the parish priest of San Blas -via Juan Antonio Olañeta- claims that the font is originally from Gardaláin. The CMdeN (1990?- vol. IV*: 169), however, describes a later font dated by an inscription to 1751 [and therefore not listed in this Index] as the font from Gardalain. Noted and illustrated in Juan Jesús Recalde Recalde's La Bizkaia de Navarra: memorias de un valle en silencio (Pamplona: Lamiñarra, 2020)
