Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. XVIII: 80, 346) as a plain cauldron-shaped basin from a Romanesque baptismal font, probably of the late 12th or early 13th century, although the source recons it could be as early as the 9th or 10th century. The granite basin is totally plain but of regular proportions and has a central drain hole in the bottom of the basin.
