Round baptismal font of the 15th century made of porous stone [source: http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/Gorge/2928/albtol.html] [misleading URL / broken link]. The entry for this church in ELTIOCAZUELA.COM [https://www.eltiocazuela.com/Villafranca de los Caballeros/Iglesia Parroquial/index.htm] [accessed 1 June 2025] informs that the probably 15th-century font was located at the west end of the nave; it is decorated with a ribbed pattern below a band of oval motifs on the basin sides, raised on a broad shaft: "La pila bautismal, en 1651, estaba a los pies de la nave pequena de la Iglesia de Santa Maria de Villafranca. La pila es de piedra porosa, de figura circular y de pie de grueso entre las lineas concava y convexa. Su exterior se halla decorado con gallones y en su parte superior luce una franja de ovas de color verdoso. Por sus caracteristicas se puede fechar en el siglo XV."
