Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. XV: 140-141) as the third of three baptismal [?] objects in this church: an 'oil-font' ["pica d'oli"] which may have been originally a sarcofagus or an ossuary. It is of quadrangular shape and with two of its sides built into a corner inside the church; its two visible sides are decorated with incised lions, much in the manner of the ones found on the stoups at nearby Sorpe and Borén. Like many other such objects in the Aneu and Aran, they were used to store the tithe oil for the illumination and heating of the church; there are claims that some of these objects had been early baptismal fonts. In Cabestany, Matas & Palau (2005) with date in the late 12th or early 13th century.
