Baptismal font of a much later date than the one reported for this church [NB: this must be another font (since there is only one Castelltallat location in Catalonia) or the one at the Museu de Manresa - cf. Index entry for Castelltallat- was not originally from this site]. The octagonal mounted font appears monolithic and somewhat resembles a soufflé overflowing its container; the basin consists of a series of three scotias in between four mouldings, all the same size and all in keeping with the octagonal shape of the basin; the base is a truncated octagonal pyramid, upside-down, and has a beautifully-rendered tassle on one of its sides, the saving grace of this font; the lower base is square and made of two round mouldings. The font has a wooden octagonal pyramidal cover with a ball-and-point finial. [We are grateful to Montserrat Stela, of Barcelona, Spain, for the images of this font]
