Described in Catalunya romànica (1984- ) as a granite baptismal font originally from the church of Sant Julià i Sant Germà, in the village of Sant Julià de Lòria, now in the gardens of the Casa de la Vall in Andorra la Vella, placed there by the Patrimoni Artistic Nacional d'Andorra [NB: a paradoxical act for a body whose role would surely be the protection of the patrimony rather than its slow disintegration exposing it to the elements]; the roughly hemispherical object has a plain underbowl; the upper sides of the basin are carved with several motifs, chiefly crosses, inscribed in circles or rectangles, perhaps even one shield; another motif is identified tentatively as either a key or a flag. Date in Garcia (2011) to the second half of the 12th century, the work of of a local stone mason, and similar to the one at Santa Eulalia d'Encamp.
