Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- , vol. IV: 395): baptismal font of the Romanesque period contemporary with other elements of this church; the monolithic font is roughly rectangular in shape, the lower end slightly narrower; the only ornamentation is a rope moulding all around about half way down its side [the font is encased into a wall, which does not permit to see the other sides]; the upper front side is broken at the place where the lock for the cover would be placed. Noted in the Amics de Besalú I el seu contat's Circular no. 4 (desembre 2002) [http://www.amicsdebesalu.cat/amicsdebesalu/recursos/recursos/circular_n_4.pdf] [accessed 26 May 2009] as a rectangular font.
