Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico en Aragón (Zaragoza, vol. 1, 2010). Described and illustrated in Antonio García-Omedes [www.castillodeloarre.org/zaragoza/990512-Lacasta02.htm]: cauldron-shaped basin mounted on a short base and a a circular plinth; although the outer shape of the basin is a rather crude work, the inside of the upper rim has a most beautiful festooned edge with lovely round arches as the initiation of a concave ribbed pattern; the ornamentation however ends there and the rest of the basin well is plain. Noted and illustrated in Acín Fanlo (2010). The basin appears to be granite, but the rest of it looks like limestone.
