Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ) as a baptsmal font made of sandstone in the late-12th or early-13th century; it consists of a roughly hemispherical basin on a short cylindrical base, probably all made of a single block; it is plain but for a roll moulding that surrounds the upper side of the basin, about 4-5 inches below the rim; the same source (ibid.) identifies it as being originally from Salcelles [aka Salselles de Borredá]; it also mentions that there are two similar fonts in the Museu Episcopal de Vic, Secciò Lapidària. There appear to be dents in the upper rim of the basin that may have to do with the locking mechanisms of the old cover; damage, in the form of a horizontal crack, is also evident to one of the sides of the basin. Noted and illustrated in Bracon Clapés (2007). No cover present.
