Described and illustrated in Catalunya romànica (1984- ) as a baptismal font of the medieval period; it consists of a cylindrical basin with rounded underbowl [alternatively described as hemispherical with extended vertical sides] and raised on a very short cylindrical base, both totally plain. As it is common in fonts of both sides of the Pyrenees in this area, the upper side of the basin has had a quadrangular metal plate inserted in the stone to provide the lock for the cover; in this case, the hardware and the cover itself are in place, although the cover is modern. Noted and illustrated in Badia-Homs (2007).
