Described in http://www.toscanamare.com/itinerari/percorsi/carrara.html : originally designed and built by Lorenzo Stagi as a tabernacle for the cathedral church at Pietrasanta in 1496-1502; it was later removed to the parish church at Farnocchia where it was recycled for use as baptismal font.
