Described in Garzelli (2002: 13) as an octagonal baptismal font of the 12th century, of the raised-tank type; Gazelli points out that, unlike the fonts at Pisa, Pistoia and other fonts of this type, the font at Settimo was too small to have the lateral tanks added. Noted as a monolithic immersion font possibly dated to the 9th century in [https://www.famigliedellavisitazione.it/wp/wp-content/uploads/Chiese_paleocristiane_romaniche_in_Italia/PROVINCIA DI PISA/PISA-Cascina-(loc.-S.Casciano-a-Settimo)-Pieve-dei-SS.-Cassiano-e-Ippolito.pdf] [accessed 26 May 2025]: "antico fonte battesimale monolitico ad immersione (forse dell'XI secolo)"
