Font Notes:
A number of baptismal fonts were built in the Jesuitic misssions within the "reductions" in Paraguay. The one preserved in Trinidad is probably dated to the founding of the mission in 1706 and, although just outside the chronological scope of this Index, it is recorded for the special interest and type. [no images or detailed description available at this moment] [The locality of San Cosme y Damián, near the border with Argentina, is known to have another surviving font of the same period and type][source: Taller Ecologista www.taller.org.ar and www.itacom.com.py]
