Described in one source as a marble vat of Roman times converted into a baptismal font ["una vasca marmorea di età romana, adattata a fonte battesimale"] [source: http://www.ept.napoli.it]. The issue of esoarte.eu for 29 August 2011 [https://www.eosarte.eu/p-15971/] [accessed 8 November 2023] reports the theft of "una vasca sacra di epoca romana", presumably the same object noted above.
