Font Notes:
Described and illustrated in Barrio Benito (2002: 214) as a baptismal font of the 16th century believed to be originally from the old abandoned church; the object appears to consist of three parts: an almost hemispherical basin -though the sides are almost diagonal rather than curved- with a thin roll moulding at the upper rim, where the iron staples from the old cover are still visible; the stem of the base is cylindrical and plain except for two roll mouldings, one at each end; the narrow lower base appears square and decorated with a moulding.
