Described and illustrated in the Enciclopedia del románico https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/soria_FUENTEARMEGIL.pdf] [accessed 18 August 2023] as a crude baptismal font of very crude execution, roughly hemispherical in shape with a shallow ribbed pattern all around, on a short pedestal base; like the church itself, probably 12th- or 13th-century ["En el interior de la capilla meridional se conserva una tosca pila bautismal hemisférica de 100 cm de diámetro × 70 cm de altura; es de época tardorrománica y está decorada con gajos apenas incisos."] Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a Romanesque baptismal font. The large and deep basin is roughly hemispherical, almost tub-shaped; the quasi-vertical sides are ornamented with ribbed pattern; short plain cylindrical base.
