Baptismal font the work of Bernardo Gaggini da Bissone; inscribed with the maker's name [source: www.maghetti.com/magistriticinesi/pagine/bissonesi_in_europa.htm]. The font and the stoups are the work of Bernardo Gaggini da Bissone; they are roughly of the same design: a round basin raised on a round pedestal base and a square lower base, all profusely decorated with a variety of motifs and symbols. [NB: the remains of an earlier (?) baptismal font are said to be kept in the sacristy]
