Noted in García Gómez (2007) as a crudely executed baptismal font of the Romanesque period, with rope moulding on the lower base, as on the fonts at Hinojosa del Campo and Oteruelos. Described in Rodríguez Montañés, in his "Panorama general del arte románico en Soria" [http://inicia.es/de/FSMLR/panorama.htm] as a Romanesque baptismal font of the late 12th century. The Circulo Romanico website [www.circuloromanico.com/diccionarios.php?glos_id=3629] [accessed 13 June 2010] notes a vine on the upper basin side, with round arch-heads below, and a rope moulding on the lower base.
