Described in Hernández Pérez (2001: 2) as a 17th century baptismal font made of white and blue marble donated to this church by Mateo Opes, ["prioste de la Cruz"]; it was originally at the baptistery of this church [NB: the source is rather confusing on where this font ended up; it apparently was removed from its original location in the baptistry and placed at the entrance to serve as holy-water stoup; after that episode the text is not clear on the location of this object -- to be resolved]
