Cylindrical mounted holy-water stoup made of granite and dated probably of the late 12th or early 13th century. On-site notes: the basin is ornamented with high-relief motifs: vine, palmette, ball, etc., all around the basin sides, the lower part of the underbowl decorated with scallop motif; the stem of the base is a tall cluster on four columns; the lower base, probably part of this same block, is shaped like a quadrangular prism. Although there is some cement between the basin and the stem now it is possible that the whole stoup may have been originally one piece [cf. Index entry for Portomarin No. 1 for the baptismal font in the same church -- the church and part of the town were relocated stone by stone to the present site in the 20th century during the construction of the dam which flooded the old site]
