García Gómez (2007) writes of a baptismal font of the Romanesque period, the decoration of which serve as the model to several other fonts in the area: Nafría la Llana, La Barbolla, La Cuenca, Torreblanco, etc. [NB: GG probably refers to this one]. The Museums of Soria web page mentions a baptismal font of the 14th century in the sacristy. The hemispherical basin is large, and is decorated with a roll moulding at the upper rim, a running acanthus vine below, and a beaded line sandwiched between two plain mouldings; the lower side and underbowl bear a pattern of concave ribs; the base is very short and much damaged. There is damage also to the upper rim of the basin; two metal staples from an old cover remain in the upper rim. [cf. Index entry for Calatañazor No. 1, for a Romanesque font in this church]
